Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. More information can be found here on our American Flag Repair Services.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Don't know how long a flag is supposed to last, but the double stitching is a must. This flag held together extremely well before the ends started fraying (over a year). However, the colors started fading sooner than expected. Over all a good product.

Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme Winds): Longevity

Posted by Apidologist on May 20, 2023

?? The average longevity for the 3'x5' Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme Winds), flown 24/7 (with night illumination), on a 40' flagpole, attached to a PVC jacketed wire rope, in weather fair or foul, temperature ranging from 10*F to 105*F, experiencing days of constant 30 knot winds with occasional gusts of 95 knots, is one year. There's negligible fading, lead and grommets remain soundly intact, however the fly of the flag eventually becomes shredded. The flag is replaced annually with a new Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme Winds). This American made, manufactured in the USA, by Flags Express, American Flag, so far is the most durable of the competitor vendor's of American Flags. If there was a better quality and more durable made in the USA, American Flag, I'd buy it! Yes, I recommend Flags Express. ???

    POLY-MAX AMERICAN FLAG (EXTREME WINDS)

Posted by Todd Klipp on May 15, 2023

I just purchased this flag. It looks great, but the jury is still out on it. I documented the date as 5/8/23 and will be able to provide a realistic review down the road. I'll be looking to see how long it takes to start to become tattered, but will also be looking to see how long it takes to fade. I display the 3 ' x 5' flag on a 17 ft pole 24/7, with a light shining at night. The CA sun and Santa Anna winds will give it a good test. I'll update my review when I have some data.

Flagsexpress was easy to work with and the flag was delivered quickly. The flag appears to be very well made and sturdy which helps with longevity.
