Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
These are the best flags I have ever purchased. Someone in the neighborhood was complaining about a ripping flag and I explained to him about this flag and where to get it.
Other than some color fading, which was less than I was expecting. This flag lasted 10 months 24/7 even through a night with 65 mph straight line winds vs 1 or 2 months for the other guys $30 flag.

I live in the High Desert of Southern California, where we have almost constant high winds, and intense sun. Generic flags MIGHT last a month before either shredding or fading. I’ve found these Poly Max flags usually last 5-6 months before showing signs of wear.
