Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

I love my new flag. It is a reminder that our flag represents equality among all races, genders, religions, and our democracy!

    Poly-Max American Flag (extreme winds)

Posted by Cindy Brown on Nov 06, 2022

We live in the Texas Hill Country with some pretty extreme winds. Other flags we bought wouldn't even last a month before they started shredding. This flag made it six months before having to be replaced.

Second flag purchased. Lasted 14 months before shredding. Colors faded at about 10 months. Other flags I have purchased from other suppliers lasted about 8 months. I see winds up to 90 mph many times a year. I fly flag 24/7

Best Sewn Flag and Made in USA

Excellent product; sewn very well. This flag is the best one we have purchased and we have winds almost daily. We’ll see how it performs but I bet it’ll outperform the rest.

Where I live the winds are very strong and constant. Had the flag for approximately a month and so far is holding up well. Time will tell.
