Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
Quality appears outstanding as usual. The flag usually lasts 9-12 months in the extreme cold and winds of Idaho.
I just bought my second one of these flags. The first one lasted over a year! Previous flags made it only 3-4 months. I live in a very windy area, and the flagpole is atop a hill, the flag fets a workout. These are excellent flags.
Excellent product. They are made of eavy weight material and seams are carefully seen. I would expect both to last many many years hear in western Pennsylvania where we are situated in the middle of a field with strong winds. We used the Poly-Max American Flag on our monument flag pole in the extreme and constant winds of the Cajon Pass in Southern California, and it lasted nearly a year, flying 24/7! Every other flag we've tried has lasted only 3-4 months, even with extra reinforcement stitching that we added ourselves. I could not be any happier with the flag. The extra stitching on the end for durability. Individual stars that were sewed on, which it's hard to find now days. Can't forget the the fast shipping. I is on the pricey side and $81 plus shipping but we'll worth it.
