Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
Thick material and made very well. Great quality and delivered fast.

the winds are coming i will be ready this spring
Flag just arrived and is now flying from our22 foot pole in the front year 24/7 Lighted. Outstanding quality product.
I have never bought a American flag that has been as well made as the Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme Winds)......I haven’t hung it up yet, but am excited to see how it stands up to our Central Illinois winds!
Well constructed; I expect it should last! Great service and prompt delivery.
Our Community center is in a windy valley and so we might go thru 2 - 3 flags a year if the wind is exceptionally bad. Under normal conditions, we know the flag would hold up much longer. Well made and sturdy.
I just replaced the last set of flags on our vessels a couple a days ago, the last set I purchased back in the spring of 2019 have been flying every day rain or shine 24/7, our boats sail every day through some very nasty weather, even though the flags were exposed for over a year in the elements, they stilled held up this fall when we were experiencing 70 to 80 knot storms, these flags are the best you can buy!!! I was very pleased with the quality of materials and the craftsmanship of this flag. Time will tell the final story of it's durability; but the flag itself is a work of art.
