Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

    THE High Wind beater

This flag holds up better than any I have purchased before. It just started to fray in one spot because of the tree limb it was hitting. Had it over a year before replacing it with this new one.

    Extreme wind flag

This is a very excellent quality American flag! I have flags for my truck which they don't recommend but so far all is good. I have kept the speed I drive at a maximum of 50 and have had no fraying of ends. Drive time has amounted to 6 miles round trip to town and back on Friday nights for dinner.

We have our flag flying 24/7 at the top of a hill. Excellent flag. Very durable and holds its color.

    Poly-Max American flag

Posted by Gerry Cox on Aug 04, 2021

This is the second flag of this type that I've purchased; the first of which lasted nearly a year, being flown 24/7/365 in northwest Arizona. (Yes, with a light.) The winds here can be 25-40mph for weeks on end, with periods of time, and serious dust devils over 60mph. A neighbor saw how well my flag lasted, and he ordered a 5' x 8' Poly-Max American flag to fly on his 30' flag pole.

    Flag quality

This is perhaps the very best quality flag that I have ever ordered. Now, let’s see how long it holds up before fading or fraying on the ends.
