Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Our previous purchase lasted almost a full year in an area with frequent high winds. The four lines of reinforcement threads is the key yo longevity!

    Quality Flag

Posted by Scott Mitchell on May 06, 2020

This appears to be a very well made flag. Due to strong Oklahoma winds most flags only seem to last 6 months or so. Based on the quality of this flag I am giving it 5 stars but if it doesn't hold up I'll come back and adjust my rating accordingly.

    Two High Wind Flags

Posted by Phillip on May 06, 2020

Excellent service. Very responsive to email query. The merchandise was mailed same day and arrived quickly. I have not yet used the flags but they look great and very sturdy, which is why I purchased the high wind versions.

    High winds in WY

Posted by Julie Mosbacher on May 06, 2020

I got this flag to stand up to the WY winds. Although we don't normally get high mph winds here like in Cody. I am impressed with the flag at this point.

    wind proof American flag

Posted by A MAXEY on May 06, 2020

We have been through 4-5 American flags because they cant take the wind. I recently purchased one of your high wind gust flags and it is reenforced with extra stitching like none of the others we have purchased. We are glad we found a tough flag that will last more than a month!
