Heavy Duty Multi-Angle Aluminum Flagpole Bracket

The unit arrived in great condition. Everything I needed to install it were included. It is a much more robust design that what I have been able to but at local hardware stores. This one will not be ruined by windy days like the last 3 I have had.

We had an old plastic flagpole bracket that needed to be replaced. Even though it was more money, I knew that a heavy duty metal bracket would be more secure especially once the weather gets cold. The bronze color goes very nicely with the exterior colors of our house.

American Flags Express was good to deal with. I did call and spoke with a gentleman in customer service to order this bracket instead of ordering on line. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. This is a nice weight and feels very sturdy. It is adjustable and can hold the US flag at a 45 degree angle or a decorative seasonal flag at a 90 degree angle. It is made rust resistant. It was easy to install. We did not use the screws provided as they were wood screws. We predrilled holes and used concrete anchors. Our home is stucco over cinderblock not wood. The bracket seats the flag well and holds it firmly by turning the fastener. We just put this up about a week ago and so far so good. Time will tell, but we believe it is of good quality and will last if cared for properly.

I needed to replace a broken bracket. Ideally, I wanted the screw spread to be the same as the broken bracket since I was reusing toggle bolts. I received a response with screw hole measurements within a few minutes and I placed my order because the measurements worked. I was pleased with the heft of the bracket when I received it and it looks great on our front porch pillar. Today, sustained winds are 60-80 miles per hour and the strong bracket with heavy toggle bolts hasn't budged.

The adjustable flag bracket allowed me to set the pole at an angle where the "anti-furling" rings would work correctly. I was a little concerned that the engagement of the clutch was not deep enough, but have had no problem.
