The distance between the two top screw holes is 2-1/8”. The distance between the top and bottom screw holes is 3-3/16”.
The bracket seems to be of much better quality with a minor flaw in either casting or design. The back plate is not evenly shaped at the top where the two mounting holes are located. It would have bin nice if the back plate was the same shape or at least the same bolt on pattern to avoid having to drill more holes into my brick wall. Otherwise it's a much better than the plastic one.

Solid bracket. I'm pleased. I just wish it came with anchors too, not just screws.
