Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
2nd one bought, other one lasted over a year in constant 50+ mph winds in the desert. Will recommend to all my friends who live in high windy areas.

Hi, I usually buy my American flags from big box stores and usually have to replace them every couple of months. I really don't live in what I consider a windy area. O decided to look for a high quality flag and when I ordered from Flags Express that's what I got. I couldn't believe the difference. Its a great value also knowing this flag will last much longer than my previous flags. It's very beautiful seeing a high quality flag waving from my flag pole now. You will be very pleased with this purchase. I will be ordering from Flags Express again, but it looks like it won't be any time soon.
I live in the country, on a hill, with no wind break. The wind can be blowing 5-10 miles in town but at home it will be ripping and roaring! I have purchased countless flags (at Wal Mart and Atwoods and other places that say they are rated for heavy wind) that have failed to hold up to the wind at our house.
