Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
We've been buying 20x25 flags for our business for 35 years. We were going through another company until they went out of business recently. Through them, we had to replace our flag twice a year as they would rip immediately. We paid more for theirs. I'm so glad we bought from Flagsexpress! It's gorgeous and much more durable. Super fast shipping and the Poly-Max Flag appears to be very well built. This flag will be used on a off-road vehicle that will see plenty of high-speed use so I hope the flag holds up longer than others I have bought (all made in USA by other companies but not extreme winds built)
