Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I just purchased my second extreme weather flag. Although my first has suffered some loss of the reinforce stitching, it has lasted a little over a year [full time fly], with 30 mph winds and gusts above that, at 2500 ft.
Best flag we have ever owned. We live on the coast and wind is a big factor. This flag has help up better than all of the past flags we have owned. Well worth the price
The purchase of our flags was super easy and we appreciate it !
Where we live in west central IL is flat and very windy. Our church usually goes through 3 flags a year. I know this flag was much more expensive, in the end is cheaper because it has lasted so long. Just had to order our second one as the one we bought over a year ago has finally started to tear.
Hoping this flag will stand up to our high winds. It has a lot of extra stitching. Waves nicely.
I went with the 2nd most durable flag and I am impressed with its construction and appearance.
VERY STURDY AND ATTRACTIVE FLAGS, PLUS QUICK DELIVERY
On my sailboat I go thru two 3' x 5' flags a year! I have always bought them from marine stores thinking they would have products cabable of withstanding wind, sun and ocean. I was wrong! I put my new HD extra reinforced "FlagsExpress" flag up yesterday and it looks awesome! Whileit is obviously too soon to know how long it will last, you can see and feel the difference in quality! This is a beautiful flag!
I ordered the flan on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. wow!
