Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

    Poly Max American Flag

Posted by Charles Robertson on Mar 24, 2017

Really is not as good as promised. We are on a hill and experience very strong winds. Life span of one Poly max is maybe 4 months. Sustained winds can be up to 40 with gusts up to and over 60 mph. Ends get tattered. Overall though it is the best we can find. Flag express has been a very good site to work with. Not sure what you could do different. I will continue to use Flag Express.

    Extra reinforced Poly-Max American Flag

Posted by Daniel on Mar 22, 2017

This is the second time I have bought this flag (5'x8'). The first one lasted almost 3 years. Other flags I have bought from other vendors have only lasted about 1 year. A bonus was that the price was the same as 3 years ago!

    Very Happy with my Flag.

Posted by Ora O Gardner Jr on Mar 13, 2017

I wanted to purchase a flag that would stand-up to our high winds, and harsh sun. Upon receiving the flag, I could see and feel that it was a very sturdy flag. Seeing that I just received it, time will be the true test. And I will be glad to give an updated to my review.

    Flag Order

Posted by Michael Davis on Mar 13, 2017

I've been ordering Flags from Flag Express for several years and have been very satisfied. We live on a hill top just outside of Monroe WI and always seem to have wind. The Poly-Max flag designed for extreme gusty winds has worked well. We replace it about every 6 months. I order on line and have the new flag in 2 days with regular shipping.

    Long lasting.

Posted by David Smythe on Mar 07, 2017

This flag is worth the extra money. My flag flies 24 hours a day in all weather. The other flags might last six months if I'm lucky and there isn't any freezing rain. This flag lasts nine to twelve months no matter what without any repairing.
