Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
The buying process was above satisfactory and I received the product in relative short order. The color seems to be slightly richer than other flags we have purchased. However, it is premature to evaluate the overall quality of the flags until at least six months have elapsed. Some of my evaluation then will depend on how good the half staff notifications are.

I fly this flag twenty four hours a day in all kinds of weather. With any other types of flags I have to repair them about every three months by cutting off the shredded ends and sewing a new hem. This flag will last about ten months without any maintenance other than a washing. Depending on the weather it will last up to twelve months. The material and extra reinforcing really helps.
