Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I order a replacement flag from you about once a year and am still amazed how quickly I receive the flag. I've lost track of how many I've bought from you over the years because you have products that do hold up much better than the standard nylon ones - which start to wear in about 3 months.
This is the second flag I bought. I live in western Arizona hot and sunny summers and lots of wind at times

I live on a NC barrier island where gusty winds are a fact of life. I have never had a flag stand up to continuous outdoor duty like your extra reinforced poly-max flag. I have the flag lit at night and while I try to bring it in if I know it's going to blow really hard, sometimes it just doesn't happen. This flag has stood up to some pretty stiff wind over the last couple of years.
They were extremely helpful
My neighbor recommended American Flags Express as THE manufacturer of flags for high-wind/sun areas. We purchased and flag and it was here in a week. It is miles above other flags we have purchased in quality and weight.
Everything was perfect from ordering to delivery to displaying my new flag.
I am very glad I have found your company. You not only provided the extra reinforced American flag but you custom made a Christian Flag out of the same material. Your Prices are very reasonalble and your service is great.
Looks good
