Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
This flag looks well made and hoping it lasts a lot longer than the other flags I've had through the years. It seems like it's always windy here, so that's why I choose this one to see if paying a little more makes a difference. Waiting to put it up till the weather here gets nicer.
This flag had the weight that I expected. It arrived in just two days via USPS.
I just received my new flag and replaced my old one. Right away, you can tell the quality and craftsmanship of my new flag is superior. The color's are deeper and brighter and the material is thicker and the stitching is superb.
After the wind shredding two flags in 4 months, it was time for something else. The Poly-Max flag for extreme winds was our answer. It arrived quickly. The seams are double-, triple- and quadruple-stitched. We look forward to seeing this flag fly for a long time!
I have bought flags advertised as heavy duty and not even last a year. So far none have held up to the wind at my Dads southern Missouri farm. This appears to be the most heavy duty yet. If this one doesn't hold up I will paint a flag on a piece of plywood and run it up the flag pole.

Our American Flag is made of a thick fabric. It is very colorful and made very well. It came fast in shipping. We will order from AFE again. What an excellent price too!
The US Flag we ordered is great quality. we have high wind a lot and the part of the flag that always get tattered looks like it will withhold through the winds.
I recently ordered my second extra heavy duty 4x6 American flag. I live in a high wind, high sun and high heat area. The first flag far surpassed their advertised usability period and I'm sure the new flag will too. Not cheap, but a very good value for the price. I've tried several other flag maker's flags and none have lasted as well as the Flags Express extra reinforced poly-max flag. Shipping and delivery is lightning fast.
