Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Want to safely remove wrinkles? (Steam is the secret)
  • Set your iron for Synthetics (with steam)
  • Once iron is hot, test a small corner (Iron temperatures can vary)
  • You can add a piece of cloth between the iron and the flag for extra protection
  • Try spraying stubborn wrinkles with water for better results

Remove flag wrinkles with extra steam and med-low iron temperature

    Nylon flag

Weve only had the flag for about two weeks, and the wind has been gusty, but so far it is beautiful and is holding up.

    Amazing Flag

Posted by John Turvey on Mar 23, 2026

I love the amazing flags I get from this wonderful company. But it only lasted half of a day when putting use.. I ride with an amazing group at a local Oklahoma, but we travel state and put flag poles up for free for veterans. So I keep a flag on my bike 24 seven rides everywhere with me. The nylon flag started coming, unravel the day of using it the first time. But I’m still saying this is an amazing flag.

Beautiful, high quality workmanship and materials.. This is something to fly with pride. I know it will last much longer than similar ones that are only slightly cheaper.

    Great flag

Posted by MRineer on Feb 09, 2026

My 3'x5' Nylon American Flags (Average to High Winds) is great! Looks beautiful and I love having a beautiful flag in front of my house. It's not a massive flag and it is not small. It is a good size and easily noticeable from down the street but not at all obnoxious. Proud to be a veteran and U.S. citizen!

This flag replaces a comparable one I got many months ago and lasted twice as long as any prior flag; hence the repurchase.

This version of an outside, 24/365 flag is by far more durable than any I've hoisted before (over a period of 30 years).
