Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

This new flag is a gift for the Henrik Ibsen Sons of Norway Lodge Park, 100 year anniversary. I have owned a 8 x 12 Flag purchased from you in 2021, it is the best flag I have ever had.
We wanted a flag to hang indoors at our manufacturing facility. The sales team was helpful in selecting a size and added extra grommets to assist in hanging from one of our rafters. It looks great and has already gotten good comments from vendors, investors, and customers.
This is the 3rd flag we have purchased from American Flags Express. (2 American & 1 USMC). The prior one (USA 5x8 flown on a 30' high pole) lasted nearly two years. The main reason we recently purchased a replacement is that it had gotten caught-up on the wing of our eagle flagpole topper and it caused a small hole/tear. There was also some very small fraying - hardly noticible. The expected lifespan of the flag was supposed to be much less than the nearly two years that we got out of it so we are very pleased with the purchase. Vibrant colors and well-made texture. If you have questions, don't hesitate to call them. You will speak to a live person from right here in the USA - we appreciated that. They will assist you in purchasing the flag best for your particular area and weather circumstances. They will not try to oversell you and actually suggested that we stay with what we had purchased prior and didn't need to purchase the more expensive option. We appreciated that too! I live in a fairly high-wind area, but usually below 50mph. Cotton flags only last a month or so, but a flag very similar to this lasted over a year. The reinforcement (not the extra stitching, just what is already included) at the end really helps. In my application, it doesn't not stay out at night and does not go out if significant weather is expected. This flag looks fantastic with embroidered stars and I fully expect it to last at least a year if not more. If so, over time this is a much cheaper option than lighter-built flags that will be replaced more often.
